Supergirl’s Legion of Super-Heroes Ship Revealed
“Wake Up”, the seventh episode of Supergirl season 3, looks set to be a big one. As well as offering some answers regarding the Legion’s mysterious ship, the episode is also set to feature the return of Chris Wood’s Mon-El. He was the love interest of Melissa Benoist’s Kara during Supergirl season 2, before a change to Earth’s atmosphere made it toxic to Mon-El and caused him to flee the planet. Mon-El’s return seems to be linked to the Legion’s sunken ship.
These pictures of the Legion’s ship come courtesy of CBR, who snapped them during a set visit. This first one showcases the passenger pods, looking a lot more functional and shiny than they did the last time they were shown:
This second image shows a snazzy control panel from the ship and some lovely greenery behind a glass window:
And this third one showcases some intriguing symbols, which appear to be on the floor of the ship:
Essentially, these images make it clear that the Legion’s ship is a pristine and futuristic vessel closer to the designs of Star Trek than Supergirl usually drifts. It’s unclear how long this ship has been submerged beneath the Earth’s surface, or why it got stuck there in the first place.
Hopefully, it won’t be long before fans get some answers regarding the ship, its positioning, the whereabouts of the crew, their intentions, and why Mon-El was found on board.
The trailer for “Wake Up” teased that Kara won’t immediately trust Mon-El upon reuniting with him, or even believe that it’s truly him. Could the arrival of Mon-El and the Legion’s ship have something to do with the fact that another race of shape-shifting aliens is being added to show in the near future? Is this really Mon-El, or is there something sinister afoot? Fans will just have to wait and see.
Supergirl airs Monday nights on The CW.
